Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At FarePals LLC (Flightofinder), refunds & cancellation terms depend primarily on the policies of the airline, hotel or travel service provider you book with. Below are detailed guidelines, typical cases, and how we assist you.

General Rules

Non-Refundable vs Refundable Fare Types

  • Many airline and hotel fares are non-refundable: you won’t get money back if you cancel. Sometimes you may get a credit voucher.
  • Refundable fares usually cost more; you may cancel with fewer penalties, but still subject to provider’s rules.

Cancellation Windows

  • Some providers offer a free cancellation period, e.g. within 24 hours of booking (depends on airline/hotel & jurisdiction).
  • After that, cancellation may incur fees or lose full amount paid.

No-Show Policy

If you fail to arrive (flight check-in or hotel check-in) without prior cancellation or notification, providers usually treat this as no-show and refuse refund.

Changes / Date & Time Changes

  • Many providers allow change of date/time for a fee. Change fees vary.
  • If you postpone travel, the fare difference (if higher) must also be paid by you.

Processing Refunds

Refund requests generally go through us, but actual refunds depend on provider’s response time.

It may take 7-30 business days (sometimes more) for refund to show back in your original payment method.

Our Service Fees

Any fees or charges we collect for booking services are non-refundable.

Even when provider offers full refund, our service fee remains with us as compensation for administrative costs.

How to Cancel or Request Refund

  • Contact our customer support as soon as possible (email or phone), quoting your booking reference.
  • We will forward your request to the provider. We can help you understand what refunds or credit you are eligible for.
  • If provider agrees, we’ll process refund to your payment source, less any non-refundable portions (provider fees, taxes, etc.).

Special Circumstances

  • Disruption due to airline cancellation or schedule change: in many cases provider must offer you choices (refund, rebooking, or voucher).
  • Force majeure (weather, strikes, war, etc.): rules vary; often provider policy or local law determines rights.
